Hidden

Select the Hidden Circulation Type checkbox for library materials where you want to control which patrons can view the materials.

Example: Hiding is useful for materials that are not available for student checkout, such as instructional materials, equipment, parent center materials and professional books.

Materials which have a hidden Circulation type do not appear in a patron's search results, unless the patron has the See local hidden materials permission set in Access Levels.

Also, if your library allows circulation to all patrons in the district, patrons of other libraries cannot view your hidden materials unless they have the permission, See off-site hidden materials.
