When you are looking for websites and library materials about a certain subject, WebPath Express can help you find the information you need.
Monthly Theme and Spotlight
The monthly theme shows subjects of interest in the current month, like leap year in February or berries in July. Just click the picture or title to see the lists of websites and library materials about it. Use the left and right arrows to scroll through months.
The Spotlight features a timely topic, such as May Day in May. Topics change four to six times monthly. To open one of the websites, click any link beneath the picture. Use the left and right arrows to scroll through other topics.
Search
- Select Catalog > WebPath Express.
- In the Find field, enter a search term.
- Click Search.
Note: The Web Sites sub-tab lists all the websites about the topic you searched for. The Titles sub-tab lists all the library materials about the topic you searched for.
- To further refine your search, make applicable selections, and click Get Results.
- When you find the resource you want, click the title or link.
Browse by subject and visual search
Browse by Subject and Visual Search let you pick a subject and then click the images to narrow down to a related topic.
- Select Catalog > WebPath Express
- Do one of the following:
- Click the Search sub-tab, and then scroll to Browse by Subject.
- Click the Visual Search sub-tab.
- To begin your search, click an image. More images appear to select from.
- Continue clicking images.
- When you find what you are looking for, click Find It.
Note: Once you see Find It below an image, you cannot go any further for that subject.
Additional Information
Word variations: WebPath Express searches for the word(s) you entered and words that stem from the same root word.
For example, the search results for product include sites about products, production, producers and productivity.
