Print reading program labels
You can print reading program labels for new copies, or copies of titles that have new or updated reading program information.
To help you avoid printing labels you already have, 'Your latest Reading Program Labels jobs'
(at the bottom of the 'Create reading program labels' page) lists the last five times you printed these labels and the parameters you selected.
To print reading program labels:
- Select Reports > Library Reports.
- Under Labels, click Reading Program Labels.

- Use the following table to fill in the fields:

Note: This drop-down only appears at the district level. Use the drop-down to select the district or a single library. Reading Program Select the applicable reading program. Sort by Use the drop-down to select how you want to sort the labels.
Note: Date Reading Program Information Added/Updated is not available for Lexile labels. Based on Use the drop-down to define which books to create labels for. Copies Added
Enter a beginning date in the From field and an ending date in the To field. Adding the time is optional.
Notes:
- You can leave both fields blank to include labels for all copies in the program.
- If you leave the From field blank and enter a date in the To field, the printing includes labels for all copies added or updated prior to the date in the To field.
- If you enter a date in the From field and leave the To field blank, the printing includes labels for copies updated on that date and all those after it.
- If you enter a date in both fields, the printing is limited to labels for copies added or updated on that date.
Include Select the applicable checkboxes to include additional information on the labels. Important:
If you select multiple checkboxes, you can only print on the large labels. The small labels can only accommodate one extra line.
Quiz Number appears on the large stock, regardless of whether you select this checkbox.
Label size Use the drop-down to select small or large labels.
Notes:
You can use either:
SMALL label set - FSCFLR spine 48-up, which prints two spine labels for each copy.
LARGE label - FSC 28-up, which prints one label for each copy.
- If you are printing Lexile labels, you cannot select the LARGE label size.
- Purchase labels from destinyexpress.com.
Start on label To continue using partially-used label sheets, enter the number of the next available label in the Start on label field. Printer offset If necessary, set the printer offsets to fine-tune the printing alignment on the barcode labels.
- Click Run Report.
- When the Report Manager opens, click View. The report opens in a browser.
- Do one of the following:
If you want to... Then... Download the label sheet Click . Print the labels - Position the label stock in your printer.
- Click .
Set the print settings.
Important: Set to:
Scale at 100%.
Print on one side.
- Click Print.
Label Contents
Use Follett Reading Program labels. Choose from:

LARGE label - FSC 28-up: The top margin contains the barcode number and call number. The label contains the following:
- Title
- Author
- Reading Level
- AR Interest Level (if selected, for AR labels only)
- Point Value
- Lexile Code, Measure, or both (if selected)
- Quiz Number

SMALL label set - FSCFLR spine 48-up: The top margin contains the barcode number, call number, and title. Two labels are printed, containing the following:
- Reading program: AR, RC, or Lexile
- Reading Level
- Point Value
- Interest Level, Lexile information, or Quiz Number (one of these, if selected)
